I've finished!
I've finally finished AND learned to upload a photo (fingers crossed it's the right size)! The loopy mohair was thicker than the one specified and I think that's made it a little more "frilly" but I can live with this.
Although I added another round of the pattern to the sleeves for the small size, if I were doing it again, I'd make them longer. This pattern is difficult to measure exactly. All the same, I'm very pleased that this is now complete.

Vicki--it looks great!! I'm so excited for you! I started my first sleeve today and your photo has me so looking forward to finishing. What yarn did you use? I think the trim looks cool!
Well done Vicki! Love the colours, they match your hair & the great Aussie bush in the background!
Kim, I used Patons Loopy Mohair for the trim which I'm sure is thicker than the specified yarn but I got so sick of looking for an alternative in a colour I like in Australia.
Absolutely gorgeous colors!
It looks like it fits you very nicely. Now if I could just get moving on mine. No progress here.
I love it!!! What an inspiration to get it done. Wonderful.
It looks fantastic! I just started mine and it is so encouraging to see a completed shrug. The border looks great, the color fits in very nicely
Kenny, I used Te Awa (a New Zealand wool) for colour A and the colour I used is Autumn. Colour B is from Bendigo Woollen Mills (in Australia) and the shade is ochre. I already had plenty of that wool in my stash! The Te Awa wool was relatively inexpensive and I've got a lot left over as it didn't seem to use as much as the pattern specified. I'm trying to work out how to make a hat to match.
I can't wait to see your finished effort; I keep checking your blog to see where you're up to.
love yor colors! its fantastic!
